Students worked hard to complete their cubes today. The catch? They had to make them out of straws and use either paper clips, pipe cleaners or Plasticine. With some discussion and guidance, students were focused and eager. We found the Plasticine connection the strongest because it molded around the straws. We also thought that the test wasn't as fair as it could be though because the two other cubes used longer straws and straws that had bends in them. Here are some photos of the students work. |
