We are finishing up a mini-unit on turtles. Students started by learning about a sea turtle's form. Students practiced drawing their own sea turtle and making changes to their designs before drawing, coloring and finally painting them. They used oil pastels to get vibrant colors and resist the paint we brushed on top. As an extension, students were able to apply what they learned about a turtle's life cycle to that of other reptiles. To see your child's Reptile LIfe Cycle slide, just ask them to log in and find it in their Shared with Me section.
